I am interested in gauging the effect of the Time Magazine article
on the growth of our little pastime. Do any of you folks who run
the larger sites, Letterboxing.org, lbworld, et al., track hits, page
counts, etc.? Do any of you folks who post their clues on
personal web sites keep track?
If so, would you mind sharing any stats with myself or the group?
I posted a new clue yesterday and had more than 40 hits in less
than 24 hours. A clue I posted last week had over 140 when I
reset the counter and has over 120 hits now. That seems
extrordinary to me.
Just curious.

I've seen an increase (although not as large as yours) on my
clues/journal since the magazine came out. About 10 more hits a day,
for what it's worth...

Well, I can't tell you where they came from, but in the last 2 weeks (or
less) I have had more than 1000 page views on my website. Now, that
number is all the hits on each page added together... Most of my boxes
have had at least 100 or more visitors... and prior to 2 weeks ago most
were aorund 50-90 visits.
